Vegas Baby YAY!

So, I went to Vegas and had more fun than should be allowed. My mom even took me to see The Thunder Down Under and I even got my own steamy lap dance, much fun. (Though the grease stuff they put all over themselves feels nasty!) We also went to The Conservatory in The Bellagio and we went to The Secret Garden at The Mirage. It was a good trip. Enjoy the pics!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

I had such a crazy busy weekend! Friday I started a new job. I was a little stressed but it's all good. Then I went to visit Cheri and Brandon. I don't get to see them enough these days. Then I spent the night with Michelle. It was good to spend some time with her.

Saturday I went to the afternoon session of conference with Heather. I was really glad we went and it was a fun new experience for me. Then I went to The Tavernacle with my dad, Aunt Linda, Uncle Jon, and Aunt Karen. It was my Aunt Karen's first time going and I think she had a lot of fun. I had a good time. They kept doing this really funny song called "Bartender." I really liked it.

Sunday I went clean crazy again! I cleaned out all my drawers and my closed so I need to make a trip to the D.I. today. It was my friend Wade's birthday. He's now 21. We hung out and played dice for a while. Then I went to hang out with my buddies Derek and Dustin. They're good guys. It was a busy weekend!

Warm Welcome Back

I had a pretty good weekend but the highlight was Sunday, we'll get to that soon.

Friday I hung out with Heather. We went to Cabela's and Jose Vera's. We were going to go see Kung Fu Panda but the movie theater was so packed that we couldn't even find a place to park! We gave up on it and rented movies instead. I love hanging out with Heather, she always makes me laugh and I really need that right now.

Saturday I got my oil changed. Yeah, that cost a pretty penny since I needed a new air filter and they tried to get me to get some little extra that would have doubled the cost. When dad heard that I had them replace the air filter he got pretty mad at me. He said he would have done that for the $3 it costs for the filter itself instead of the $20 they charged me. How was I supposed to know? Then I went to my grandma's and got a new microwave stand and a vacuum. I needed a vacuum bad! Then I went to Steven's soccer game and accidentally forgot Jennika's birthday party! I feel like such a jerk! Luckily, Michelle wasn't mad at me. I can't believe I'm such a DITZ!

Sunday I finally got my little butt back in church! It's seriously been like 2 months since I've gone. It was really nice because a couple of my friends were there ready to welcome me back. I seriously felt so loved! I got lots of hugs and "Where have you been?" and "We've missed you so much!" Yeah, I felt loved and that spiritual lift is exactly what I needed! In Sunday School Amanda and I were passing this note back and forth, you know, just catching up on my latest single misadventures and laughing. After class was over the guy behind us said, "I want to read the note." Without even thinking twice we just handed it to him! I still can't believe we did that. He came up to us after church and started talking to us. I think he was going to ask me out but I was too excited to see my friends to pay attention. Poor guy, I really didn't mean to be rude and blow him off but my girls are more important anyway! I told my friend Amanda that she needed to start texting me an hour before church so I'll actually get my butt out of bed and go. She told me that she's going to make me start going to choir with her. I say BRING IT ON! It's been a long time since I've been in choir and I welcome the opportunity to sing my little heart out again. Amanda came to pick me up for ward prayer Sunday night too, that was nice. I really enjoyed it and decided that I needed to make it part of my Sunday routine. The renewed spirituality is priceless and I'm so glad that I found it again!

Where Did The Weekend Go?

This weekend was so full and went by so fast that's it's left me thinking, "Where did the weekend go?" Friday night I went to The Tavernacle. I love the place but I just didn't have as much fun as I usually do, my heart wasn't in it or something, I don't know.

Saturday Steven and I drove the loop and then went bowling with Heather and Phil. It was a lot of fun and we got some crazy, fun pictures.

Sunday I went hiking with my dad and Steven to Stewart's Falls. It was a lot of fun, we saw a snake and heard some elk. We told wild life stories along the way, it was a good time.

Weekend

Friday night was my time.

Saturday I spent some time with my good friends Heather, Michelle, and Matt. It was a lot of fun to hang out with the three of them. We stayed up until 5am just talking and having a good time. Michelle spent the night at my place, we haven't done the whole sleep over thing in a REALLY long time.

Sunday was a crazy day, lots of people all around. Steven came over and we watched a movie, then I turned into this big weepy mess. I hate it when I do that. It's really annoying. I'm going to miss sleeping in but for now, I'm glad to be back to work.

Ghetto Camping, Slow Brain, and Lots of Sleep

This weekend I decided I wanted to go camping but I didn't have any money to pay for a camp site in the mountains. My friend Heather came up with a solution: camp in her pasture! Sure it's in the middle of town and we'll be on hard dirt and have curious horses bothering us all night but we can pitch a tent and have a bonfire! That's camping enough right? We did a lot of laughing, roasted marshmallows, and got some hilarious pictures! However, 4am rolled around, it was cold, and the horses wouldn't leave us alone so we decided to bail. Real troopers aren't we? After sleeping in to about 10am we went back and took down the tent.

Saturday was pretty boring. I didn't do much. I went to the store and saw an old face I really didn't want to see. Instead of being on the ball and telling him off I was taken by surprise and just said hi. What the crap? I hate when I have delayed reaction time and then draw a blank. While I was driving home and stewing that I didn't ream him with words I realized it was better the way it happened. I need to remember that I don't have to stoop to other's low, low levels. Though I may have wanted to be all claws at the time, I'm glad that my stunned brain made me be the bigger person. I went home and watched movies, went and visited a buddy, and watched more movies. BORING!

I'm not proud of myself for sunday at all. I slept from 3am to 1:45pm and then from 3pm to 6:15pm. Why on earth did I sleep that much? I'm not sleep deprived. I felt like I had wasted the day and I was pretty upset with myself. Plus, when I woke up I realized that it had been over 30 hours since I had eaten anything! I ran to Subway to get some much needed food and then played poker with Steven for the rest of the night. He left and I spent the wee hours of the morning writing. It was a weird weekend.

3 Day Weekend with Only 1 Good Day

So this was supposed to be a great 3 day weekend? Well it didn't play out that way. Friday night I had to deal with drunkenness and I really can't stand drunks anymore. I can't even begin to tell you. It ruined the whole night for me. I was hating life.

Saturday was awesome! We woke up early and went on a hike. It was supposed to be Heather, me and some boys that I won't name considering what I'm going to say next. The boys proved themselves to be the wussies they are and didn't show. So predictable! It's all good though because Heather and I had way too much fun without them! We hiked to Stewart Falls which is a beautiful hike. I'm so glad we went. That night Nathan, my dad and I went to the Tavernacle. It was fun but there was a birthday party there with all these party girls and they were super annoying! Plus there was some weird kissing going on but that's not a story I want to post. It was good to spend a little time with Nathan, it's been a while.

Sunday was BORING! I went to church, where I'm usually really bored but it was actually a nice break from the boredom! I went home and was sitting around alone bored as could be when Heather came to my rescue yet again! I love this Heather girl, I'm keeping her around. We went to get pizza. It was nice. When I got home I got some disturbing news and that ruined everything!

Monday all I did was read, read, read, read, read, read, you get the idea. Anything to get my mind distracted from my mood. Finally I had a break from the reading and my cousin came over to visit. We went to Cafe Rio, grabbed some grub, went back to my place, and watched a movie. It was nice to spend some time with her.

The Tavernacle = Too Much Fun!

This weekend we went to The Tavernacle and had a blast! Seriously, who should be allowed to have that much fun? The crowd was awesome, everyone was singing and dancing, people were cutting loose and making us laugh so hard. These guys requested this weird rap song and the piano players made them get up and dance on the pianos since they requested the "stupid song." It was really funny.

Then they did "Baby Got Back" and I couldn't help myself, I stood up and danced. The next thing I knew the guy singing the song had come up to me and started dancing with me. It was a lot of fun and I was really bummed that we didn't have the camera ready. Those would have been some great pictures. Shortly after that it was his turn to go on break and he came over to talk to me. It made me feel so good that someone remembered me after a year! I seriously haven't been up there for over a year and he remembered who I was. I felt special and asked him if I could get a picture with him since he remembered who I was.

I had a really good time and I'm looking forward to going back again! Besides, Troy (pictured above), insisted that I come back soon. I guess I shouldn't disappoint!

Kind of Crazy Weekend

This weekend was kind of nuts. Steven and I kept having little... not arguments but we just had a few misunderstandings and then we'd be all awkward with each other. It wasn't fun, I think we've got that straightened out though. Saturday I took my dad to the airport, came home, and then Steven and I slept until 2pm. I woke up and wanted to kick myself for letting the day slip away like that. Sunday I got so busy cleaning I almost forgot about church entirely. I went to Sunday School and saw an old friend, she's moving into our ward so that will be nice. Went home and got the cleaning bug again. Steven came over and I made dinner while he took a nap, that poor boy really needs more sleep. After dinner we went for a walk, came home and played poker. Steven was waiting for me to go to sleep and was a little disappointed when I told him that after he left I was going to finish cleaning. He kept sending me text messages that said, "Sleep." It was cute. I got to bed at 12:30 which is actually my norm so it's all good. Yeah, crazy weekend but a lot got done so it's all good.

A Fun Weekend! Just What I Needed!

Friday night I had the great pleasure of hanging out with Cheri again. Her friend Brytina came over and we hit it off pretty quick. Then we went over to another one of her co-worker/friend's apartment's and hung out there. These were seriously some of the funniest people in the world! We went upstairs to watch these funny videos and all us girls just piled onto this guys bed. He was so excited to have 3 girls on his bed, I don't know why. It's not like we were all over each other or anything but if it makes him happy, it makes him happy. We left there at like 1am to take her friend back to her car so she could get up early to go to work. Then Cheri and I went for an early morning run to Wal-Mart. I love going to Wal-Mart when it's a ghost town! All in all, I didn't get to bed until 3:45am.

Saturday morning Steven came over to sleep in with me, I love it when he does that. I got a text message from Cheri telling me that her daughter was asking for me. It was so cute that I went over to visit her. Then Steven and I went to his soccer game. I usually don't watch his soccer games and just read on the side-lines but Saturday I was taking pictures so I actually paid attention to the game. I should have been doing this all along! It was really fun to watch. By the end of the game I was cheering for our guys and yelling at the refs with the rest of the team. Steven plays soccer with his dad, I think it's really cool that he has an activity he can do with his dad like that. There needs to be a little more of that in the world.

Saturday night we went to go see a play. The Hasty Heart and it was so good. We went because our friend from high school was in it and we wanted to go support him. The comic relief was something I really needed. Our friend did really well and I was very proud of him. Heck, Matt's just a good guy, that's all there is to it.

Sunday was a relaxing day. We sat around, watched movies, and just took it easy. It was nice.

A Slightly Blah Weekend

I had a really relaxed weekend. Maybe a little too relaxed, it got a little bit boring. I finished my scrapbook this weekend though, now it's just time to buy a new one. I went and hung out with Derek for a little bit, it's always nice to see him again. Sunday Steven, Phil, and I went and saw Batman. It was Steven's first time seeing it, of course, we all enjoyed it. Sunday night ended on a sour note. I guess my best friend died because the girl we went to hang out with was not her, she was far too mean to be my best friend. Things change, people change, it just sucks when the change is for the worse.

Lava Hot Springs!

So, I went to Lava Hot Springs and had a blast! Went tubing down the river, swam, went to a parade, shopped, went to the hot springs and spent a lot of time with the family! We had a good time, everyone left happy.
After all this fun I decided to be a little adventerous and I went to a palm reader. She had some really interesting things to say. She said she had never seen so many achievment lines on one person's palm so look out world here I come! Two sources of income soon, I could use that. She said I would marry again at age 25, be married for 40-50 years, I would be widowed, and remarry. She said I would have 4 kids, which I already knew. She had a lot of other stuff to say but I'm not going to go into it here. It was fun and I'm glad I went. I sure did miss Steven though and couldn't keep away from him when I got home!

Bah-Bye

Well, I get to leave to Lava Hot Springs tonight/tomorrow(my mother can't decide when she wants to leave) for my extended weekend. I love Lava Hot Springs Idaho. If you ever get a chance, go. It's beautiful up there and there's so many fun things to do in the water. They have one of the coolest pools ever! It has a water slide and a rock climbing wall over the pool so you can climb up and jump in! Then, of course, you can relax in the Hot Springs and tubing down the Port Neuf river is fun. Well, it's fun for those brave enough to do it, I'm not. Anyway, I'll have lots of pictures for you all when I get back! Bah-Bye.

The Ute Stampede! Yee-Ha!

This weekend we went to The Ute Stampede! It was Steven's first Rodeo. He was skeptical at first but I think he had a good time. Most of my family was there and we had some fun in the pool and a nice little BBQ beforehand. It was good to see my cousin Melissa again, I don't get to see her as much as I would like too. The rodeo itself was a little scary, there were a lot of injuries. It was kind of funny though, I've never seen this before, there were quite a few bulls that were giving them a lot of trouble. When their run was over and they tried to get them to leave the arena they were totally stubbron, refused to leave, and even laid down. It was crazy! It was a lot of fun and I look forward to doing it again next year. After all, it is a family tradition.
