I went and saw The Pink Panther 2 with Steven and his family yesterday. It was a really good movie and I really enjoyed it. However, there was a young man sitting a seat away from me(the seat between us was empty)
who was seriously creeping me out. He stared at me for most of the movie and he kept commenting on the movie in my general direction like he was trying to get me to talk to him. This guy was like scary stalker quality here. I couldn't believe he didn't get the clue, I'm holding Steven's hand, stealing kisses from Steven here and there but this guy is still trying to get my attention. At the end of the movie I had to go to the bathroom and Steven decided to wait outside for me. The kid was in the lobby and when I went through he totally stared at me the whole time. And I mean stared! He even turned his whole body to watch me go. I was so creeped out that I kept looking over my shoulder as I went to the car because Steven and I hadn't drove together. I was afraid stalker dude was going to follow me and grab me or something. The movie was good though so go see it, I just hope none of you end up sitting close to a creepy stalker person.

Some Things Are Better Left Unknown
I'm reading Black Dahlia Avenger by Steve Hodel. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Black Dahlia I'm going to give you the super watered down version: Black Dahlia is the nick name given to Elizabeth Short after her dead body was found bisected (cut in half with surgical precision) and mutilated on January 15, 1947. (Very watered down. If you are curious you can go on http://www.photobucket.com/ and put Black Dahlia into the search and it will bring up crime scene photos, I warn you, they're gruesome.)
This case has not been solved by the LAPD. As a matter of fact, they have conveniently lost evidence and interviews of certain witnesses. Got to love the crooked cops covering for their buddies.
Steve Hodel is a retired homicide detective that took the case after he found pictures of Elizabeth Short in his dad's private photo album. (He was given the photo album after his father had died.) Steve Hodel has actually collected quite a bit of compelling evidence that points to his father as her killer. After he collected all of this he wrote his book.
I've really enjoyed this book so far, there's a lot of interesting information in it. However, yesterday what I read was a bit too much for me. (That's saying a lot.) He described in detail what her killer(s) did to her while she was still alive and I was totally shocked by their brutality. Seriously, if there was any way that I could have the memory of what they did to her taken from my mind, I'd go for it. It amazes me what horrible creatures we human beings can be.

Failed Attempt
So I wanted to go up the canyon last night to get some pictures of the pretty leaves. Well, for some reason I had a bad feeling about going up the canyon alone. Call me superstitious but I listen to those gut instincts so I was dragging my feet a little bit on going. I got a text message from Matt asking me what I was up to and asked him to come with me. YAY! I could go! We get up there and park at one of the turnouts and start taking pictures. Sadly, it was too late and I didn't get very many good pictures.

We went up in the trees to get some pictures and when we came back down these people who were parked not too far from us asked us if the guy that went up into the trees after us bothered us. What? We didn't see no guy. They said that the guy saw us go up in the trees and went up after us. Right then I knew why I wasn't supposed to go up the canyon alone. THANK YOU MATT! So even though I didn't get the pictures I wanted, at least I got another shining example of why I need to trust my gut.

Demonic Voices In The Night? Welcome To My Head.
The Queen of Nightmares has a new one to add to her book. Last night I woke up for a minute and I swore I heard a very demonic voice say, "Brittany, crawl." It was very menacing and it scared me bad but I was in
that funky half awake/half asleep state and fell back to sleep even though I tried not to. The next thing I know I look down at the end of my bed and there's a demon climbing up it after me. When I woke up I was in a cold sweat and I was trying to climb up my wall to get away from him. I hate nightmares. I wish they'd go away. I had to go splash my face with water and search my whole apartment before I was able to go back to sleep.

Scary Night
Last night I was up late, big surprise, getting ready to go to bed when I started hearing noises at the front of my apartment. One of the reasons I enjoy living in an apartment is because when I hear noises I think to myself, "Neighbors" and blow it off. So, I'm blowing off the noises when I hear my back screen door open and shut and then I loud bang that I couldn't place. I still have no clue what that noise was. I got scared and couldn't move as the noises continued! The only thing I could bring myself to do was text Steven. He rushed over, just as nervous as I was, and I unfroze a little bit. Realized that I had been texting other people and responded to their texts so they knew what was going on. Once others heard that I was worried someone was breaking in everybody
wanted to come over and make sure all was well. I figured one was enough and told them to stay. Steven was nice enough to stay until I fell asleep. My land lord found nothing. I still have no clue what it was. It took me forever to get to sleep because I was freaking out. Then I had to put the curtain over the window fan and turn the fan off because I was freaking out that someone was looking at me through my window fan. I got the other fan but it wasn't enough and I got too hot during the night so now I'm sleep deprived AND sick to my stomach. Today sucks, I want tomorrow to be here now.
