Steven took me to see this last week. It was pretty good. I thought it was cute and there was some really good acting in it. I suggest you go see it.

I am a huge fan of the origial. One of my favorite movies from my childhood. It was fun to see the cameo's of the original children all grown up as well as some of the elements from the old film. Like the Winnebago, dog instead of the cat etc... I think they did a good job updating it. We took my 10 year old daugher, my 13 year old did not want to come. She loved it.

Oh my goodness! Vicki, thank you for confirming that the original DOES exist! I've been arguing with my friends in my ward about this since I saw the preview. I totally remember the original and they all acted like I was making stuff up. I think I'll have to see the new one!
