Doomed Queens

The fact that I really liked this book is just another testament to how dark and twisted I can be. The book is a compilation of the most unfortunate stories of doomed queens through the ages. The author has not only compiled the stories but she has added her very own illustrations of some of the unlucky souls featured in her book. Plus, she also added her wicked sense of humor to each of the tales. I absolutely loved it! I highly suggest it if you have a bit of a dark sense of humor like I do. Also, pay attention to the the story of Brunhilde. There's a lot to be learned from her tragic end.
