For those of you who know me well you'll know why today is the hardest 
day of the year for me. Last night I gave myself a pep-talk telling myself that I don't have to suffer anymore because of the atonement but I still feel all alone in this. I know that the atonement is actually an easy concept but I can never seem to wrap my head around it. Besides, why would I want to put something so painful on someone I love? I can't wait for tomorrow to come.

You are right, you don't have to suffer anymore. You are not alone. You have God and Jesus, both of which can help you. And I am always here for you dear, to help in anyway I can. I love you.
Oh honey, the atonement sounds like an easy concept but I don't think anyone really, truly gets it. I am so, so sorry that you have to go through this. But you really aren't alone. He really does know how you feel, even though no one else does exactly. And as long as you keep your heart open to Him He will heal it. Eventually.
