The Black Dahlia

Well, I was excited to see this movie since I've been reading a book on the Black Dahlia but it just didn't cut it. It was dumb and inaccurate. It had a good cast though. I think if I didn't know as much about the real case as I do I would have liked it but because I'm familiar with the facts, it was just dumb. It also did what so many other books and movies have done to Elizabeth Short: they made her into a common whore! It angers me, if we go by witness statements at the time of her death she was a nice girl who's only personality defect we can see is she lied. It wasn't a good movie, it was dark and twisted, I wouldn't suggest it.
