Tropic Thunder

I'm really enjoying these movie nights with my dad. This had to be one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. Seriously, it was pretty stupid; however, it also had some really funny parts. Ben Stiller is so good at that dumb funny. I knew it would be stupid but at least it had funny parts. Robert Downy Jr. surprised me. After seeing him in the more serious role of Iron Man it was really unexpected to see him in a role like this. He did a really good job! Thank goodness he's cleaned up and got back to work. Jack Black was Jack Black. I enjoy Jack Black but every character he plays is the same, there's no versatility there. I'll watch it again. Who knows? Maybe it's one of those movies that is better the second time around.
